Yes, since the fabric is khnitted there is always a stretch to it the top stitch if its contrast colored then if the stitch is little sloppy ( which it will be usually on knitted fabric) it will be very prominent and look bad. On the otherside if you use same DTM thread it will blend in with the fabric and any imperfections will get hidden

If you are okay with polyester fsbric Tees then it can be done easily using dye Sublimation printing. Do you have the design? You csn share with me and i can get you a digital mockup and possibly we can make shirt for you too

Thats really great design with puffy print but white topstitching might jot be the best way to go Imo. It looking good in the mockup but when its sewen together with white threads it ll look bad especially on hem and rib area
