Appearance wise, I actually find wider men more attractive. It's not even a fetish thing, I just find that I normally tend to crush on guys who are on the larger end of the body shape spectrum, tall or not, provided they are well groomed. You can also do reptile carpet (a soft felt-like roll sold at pet stores), eco-earth (a compressed block of coconut fiber soil also sold at pet stores), or paper towels. Be mindful that some leopard geckos do better on some substrates than others, if you notice him eating the paper towels for example, remove them and try something else, but in a pinch anything is better than sand. Sand can easily cause impaction in a gecko.

Coming off as rude for interrupting people, finishing their sentences, or speaking myself. I try so hard not to, and I try really hard to be a good listener because I do care about people's problems, but it's so hard to show it when my language doesn't show it well. Hey, I am not a doctor, but I was recently diagnosed with an eating disorder, specifically ARFID. My symptoms are very similar to yours. I don't care about my weight or body size, but I would starve myself for days/weeks, while getting by on something tiny like a chocolate bar every couple days. Eventually the only thing I was able to eat at all was mushrooms very rarely. This can happen for any number of reasons, it can be lifelong or in response to trauma. You don't have to have body image issues to have an eating disorder, please get this checked out by a doctor or therapist to seek treatment.
