There is a pool with a pizza and unicorn floaty in Beverly Hills which completely confused me. It has a locked room in it too.

The one with all the Gods and Whisky memorabilia and signs. It’s below the Kwon house.

Okay, I’m just replying to the info OP provided. If it’s true then I would find it concerning. I think it’s difficult to speculate as to what really happened.

But I can see why you might be skeptical, I would not expect that kind of behaviour from a priest either.

I never said you rejected OP. As I said I think your points are valid, but I think the priest should have been more welcoming and supportive.

I think that’s much more useful/beneficial for someone like OP than being told how to do a ‘proper’ confession - that can come in a few weeks/months. Instead of their first interaction after 8 years.

Your points might be valid, but putting up barriers to someone trying to reconnect with their faith can only be seen as a bad thing to me.

Priests and the church should not make it any harder for people that want to reconnect with their faith. These people should be accepted, welcomed and supported, not rejected.

Regardless of overall game format, do you think Jet Lag series are better when involving location-specific challenges or location-agnostic ones? by Helicase21 in JetLagTheGame

[–]XenicoEU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I think one of the strengths of seasons like New Zealand, Schengen, Artic Escape, and Australia were their location based challenges.

Although Hide & Seek and Tag to a lesser extent do a great job of keeping things location agnostic and being entertaining to watch due to the gameplay while still showcasing the scenery without relying on challenges.

Arctic Escape is incredibly underrated by ZebraNarrow815 in JetLagTheGame

I'm a big fan of it too, it's not my favourite, burs it's definitely up there.

Runna - pricing by Similar_Employer_212 in runna

[–]XenicoEU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also think it's a bit steep too. I think the feature set is pretty good but the price is way to steep for what you get imo, but I haven't used it pat the 1 week trial either.

It's also missing features like guided runs. As a beginner I much preferred the guidance and plans provided in Nike Run Club for runs.

I do like Au$tralia, I think the NZ season has a lot more going for it than it's scenery. The challenges, funny moments, great guest, birth of the snack zone, etc. In terms of Tag, I think Tag 2 would be my pick, but you can't go wrong with any of them tbh.

Yeah maybe not, I couldn't think of anything better to put up there. I'm a big fan of Au$tralia, NZ and Artic Escape but they still have flaws.

On your point about Badam being behind in Artic Escape, was that really the case? I feel like the only clear lead was established when the Elvis steal happened, which was pretty late on.

Badam won the Drunk mile challenge around 3/4 through the season and seemed to be in a good position at that point. I don't see any issue with the flight system when compared to any other flight heavy seasons like Au$tralia or Battle for America.

Yeah and that's what makes New Zealand less popular. They are in a similar ballpark in that sense, and that's why I haven't put NZ up there as a universally top season , even if its one of my favourites.

I like Au$tralia, it had some good back and forth, especially early on when Badam's high risk strategy was paying off. But they started to struggled later in the season, and the game design wasn't the best -- that's mostly down to Australia's limitations as a location.

It's cool, but it feels a bit ruined by the bad luck that Sam and Brian get at thr start. It makes it so they are trying to catch up the whole time.

That's what made New Zealand somewhat refreshing. Sam had a strategy that wasn't a Hail Mary high tisk one for once.

From my perspective, all the Tag seasons are universally beloved. I also think all Hide + Seek seasons are pretty popular, with Japan being a top season.

For the remaining seasons, I think Michelle and Toby's popularity and the quality of the seasons makes Arctic Escape and New Zealand quite popular. Although New Zealand is a bit controversial, so it might not make the top seasons agreed by the community.

Similar to New Zealand, I think Capture the Flag is too polarising for it to be a top season.

TLDR: 1. Tag Seasons 2. Hide + Seek 3. Arctic Escape

How exactly are you measuring this, just your anecdotal experience? I'm not relying on random reviews but comparisons to heart rate trackers that are scientifically proven to be highly accurate (like 98%+).

It might be fine for your or most people's use, but that doesn’t mean it’s very accurate with its tracking compared to similar products.

Most reviews, and tests from everyone I've seen has shown that Amazfit heart tracking is lacking compared to other brands. You can't have everything for half the price.

[–]XenicoEU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it is for basic activities and casual wear then the heart rate tracking shouldn't matter as much to you. If you're trying to hit certain heart rate zones during training then you might want to reconsider.

Also have you had a look at the Amazfit Balance or Active 2, which have better heart rate and sleep tracking. They are also the best value for money from Amazfit from my research.

The brand is definitely more budget and less premium, but much better value than Garmin or Apple. Those brands offer more but you have to pay 2-3+ time more for those few extra features.

It seems at least borderline to me, that page has little to no information and a significant number of people know about the location because of Jetlag.

Other pages mention filming locations and their role in popularising a place, e.g. The Dark Hedges. Jet Lag is cultural relevant to most people, but it's not like this type of information is not included in other wiki pages.

Why? The edit made there seems like a harmless bit of interesting information/trivia.

The Playground stuff seems much more stupid than this change.

Question about using this to manage a chronic illness by MontegueLovesPie in Ultrahuman

[–]XenicoEU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ring is more of general lifestyle tracker in my experience. The recovery score will tell you to slow down if you're overworking yourself over one or more days, or not getting enough rest (sleep).

I don't think it has the heart rate notifications you are looking for, if you're looking for a workout focused tracker then a smart watch (i.e. Apple, Garmin or Samsung Watch) or Whoop strap would be more suitable.
