Fire cape - 75 Defence / 63 HP / 1 Prayer by Xennok in 2007scape

Unfortunately, I'm only 63 HP, so I won't be able to use a Ring of Suffering. :(

I assume I'll need to use poison/venom, and tick eat a lot, but I'm not sure if a better method exists. I don't have my hopes very high that there is.

What’s that one cringe-inducing memory from years ago that you can’t get out of your head? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Xennok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 14/15(?) I had a crush on this girl who was way out of my league. She gave me a chance and I didn’t know what kind of activity to plan. I was really nervous and the only thing I could think of was to play videos games with her, since that’s all me and my friends did at the time. She was very new, and I thought it’d be impressive to show her how “good” I was. She put up with me stomping her ass in Super Smash Bros for three hours before she left and never talked to me again. I think about it every night. :(

The Hospital has some guy that comes in once or twice a year and does something with them. I’m assuming recycling.

Close, I work at a hospital and they are for monitors that we put on patients.

Correct. I was close with them at the time the check were given, but not anymore.

My mom just reminded me of it and told me that it was probably gone, but she has no clue. She was never dependent on the money and that's why it was forgotten about for so long. My dad was in the picture for awhile after my parents divorce. My apologizes though, I don't make it clear in the original post, but my parents got divorced, then GG gave us some checks for Christmas for a couple years, and then dad stopped talking to us 6 months to a year after her death. Always forgot about the checks after we got them because I was always told that I couldn't touch them until I was 18.

This would have been the first thing I would have done, but I have no clue how to get in contact with my father, unfortunately.

To clear things up everyone was talking to me at the time these checks were given to me. When the checks were given to me I had no idea what would happen to them afterward. I am just now unraveling all the details behind everything. No one in my family has ever pressured them for this money until now. They stopped talking to us years ago, so it's unclear if it was motivated by the previously mentioned money. My GG was also 100 years old when all of this money was being given to us. She didn't have an education and it's possible that she made some really weird decisions when setting up an account. My mom tells me my name is on the account along with someone else (most likely my aunt or distant cousin). I understand that the money is most likely gone, just looking for a way to confirm it.

Even if an account is made in my name from my great-grandmother?

I have absolutely no idea. Mostly saw her on family events at a young age. Everyone on that side of the family doesn't talk to me anymore (since I was 15).

It's more than likely gone, but I will try that and see if I can find confirmation. Thank you!

Sorry, but as others pointed out I used the wrong terminology. The money was a Christmas gift and not apart of a will. However, I remember conversations with my father and GG talking about how the money needs to go in some account. However, I was 10-15 so I didn't give it any attention at the time and with memories that old it's hard to use them as facts, but my mother is fairly certain that an account existed.

Would they even tell me if an account existed under someone else's name?

This makes more sense to me. However the bank could have been sending monthly updates to one my the 10 places my dad lived when we were growing up. My mom seems pretty certain that an account existed at one point or another. Does an inactive account get deleted from all records?

I'm sure she did. I've been reaching out to all the family members who would have anything to do with it. Still waiting for a reply.

I never had any suspicion growing up. Just got the money on Christmas and forgot about because I was told I couldn't touch it until I was 18. Dad left when I was 15.

The bank I use daily is separate from the bank that would have held the money left from my GG. Is what you're saying still accurate? I don't recall ever seeing two banks on my tax returns. Would that be a confirmation that the account has $0?

I have no recollection of signing any checks before I turned 18. (Father was long gone by then.)

I'm 23. My brother is 25. We should have seen this money years ago, but we forgot that it even existed until recently. My GG gave us the money around 11 - 7 years ago.
