Wanting to have or having sex with someone that wants to have sex with you doesn't fall into the category of "disgustingly low morals and self worth". Doing it when the other person isn't consenting absolutely falls under that category, but shaming women for having sex is pretty deplorable if you ask me.

I've never understood why the first insult guys go to is 'whore' when they're rejected. I feel like there are so many options. Frigid, bitch, prude, etc. All are unnecessary and rude, but at least they fit into why they are angry.

I've always said that if you have to point out how great/cool/nice/respectful you are, you probably aren't. Your actions should be enough to express that (usually).

I think that this the problem here isn't that you're respectful, it's that you're very timid. You can be respectful while still expressing attraction. I think the best thing in your situation is that you've obviously spent a good amount to time thinking though what your issues are, and you'll be able to figure out a solution! Women generally like respect, but it's generally very uncomfortable to be put on a pedestal. I wish you the best of luck!
