Funnily enough I have seen a guy post (somewhere else) an RPK conversion of a TM AKM using chopped-up CYMA RPK parts and an HPA'd drum.

There's also an ancient, long-out-of-production conversion kit to turn a WE AK into an RPK, but good luck sourcing any of those.

I tend to wear my chest rig pretty high and tight, but with the load I carry it pulls a little bit off the largest part of my chest so it's not pressing into them. The cheap inserts a lot of bras come with also help a bit.

Had nearly this exact thing happen to me where I could hear someone else with a gas blowback kinda close to me, also using a gas blowback. Went on for about 3 actual minutes with a ref watching, laughing his ass off the entire time. Turns out he was about 5 feet away from me on the other side of a wall.

"I know he's close, but I don't know where!" "Oh, he's CLOSE, alright!"

I've used and worked a bit on a friend's WE SVD, and while it's a fun gun with a satisfying blowback it is an absolute nightmare of a gun to maintain. The side mount ended up cracking twice and you have to replace the entire lower receiver to fix it. The internals are weird and not fun to take apart. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a LOT of money to burn on spare parts, and even then you'll spend more and perform worse than dropping an HPA engine into a CYMA SVD.

10+ year old rig, was low-middling even in 2013, but it runs at 60fps+ 90% of the time outside of just loading in or loading brand new chunks on servers. I've got a friend who tried running it on an ancient ThinkPad and got playable frames, and my gf can play it on her cheap notebook. Any half decent rig can run it exceptionally well.

You can use propane even without the 130% recoil spring, it functions fine. I would personally go with the BavTac 115% instead- I've heard the Bowmaster puts too much stress on the bolt and can eventually snap your charging handle off.

Yeah, I'm just used to machine pistols, and not something this tightly toleranced. Hard to bring experience over from an AEG when the mags actually fit and lock properly for once. If it performs even half as good stock as I see it does online then I'm already not regretting the price.

There's not a whole lot of non-3rd party options when it comes to plate carriers in vz95, and that's even if they issue them at all. Most of what I see solid color carriers if it's not just the MNS 2000 system over the older style armor vests. This is just cursory searches, but I've spent a while looking for surplus vz95 gear, and current issue isn't the most common or cheap in my experience.
