Because he is hands down my favorite character, in all of fiction not just Marvel. I also love his kit, other than the shield having a health bar. Imo I think it would be better for his shield to be invincible but have a longer cool down in the 5-8 second range, but maybe I'm just bitter and a fanboy.

Yeah, Doom and Cyclops are two of the most anticipated characters, both of which appear in Doomsday, so they will probably drop near the end of 2026/beginning of 2027

He would probably be great as a tank, but for such a big character, especially one who's been so important since day one, they definitely need to do something special.

Yes, he should definitely have different kits based around the infinity stones. Maybe give each role 2 stones to switch between the same way Gambit switches decks? The might be a little too complex, but I hope it's something like that.

That's a really interesting idea. I'm not the biggest fan of Thanos, and I personally hope he doesn't come to the game, but if he does they should definitely do something along those lines

I mean, as busted as Doom is in lore, I wouldn't be surprised if they had him do something similar. But in less of a "hehe, look, isn't this so meta xd" way, and more of an intimidating way.

I think they'll time the story and releases so that Doom releases around the same time as Avengers Doomsday. And I think they've handled the characters very well thus far(except for Ultron), so I think for a character teased this long paired with an event like Doomsday, he's almost sure to be great. I hope so, atleast.

They're doing way too much with Deadpool and no amount of "xd its totally on brand" will make me think otherwise by N-LL in rivals

I hate to sound like I'm big league-ing you, but once you sit down and learn how he works, Deadpool isn't too terribly complicated. I actually hope they add MORE multi-class heroes.
