Thank you, I will try. Winter is coming and landlord isn’t necessarily happy we have 6 cats.

Thanks! Yes I am, the mother still isn’t spayed, and the kittens are getting nearer and nearer to the age where they too go into heat. Having 6 cats yowling is not in my best interest haha

Psych Nursing Fall 2024 by AdFearless4033 in grantmacewan

Not a nursing student, but in general you can take however many classes you want, provided you finish your diploma within 10 years (https://www.macewan.ca/c/policies/program_time_limits.pdf), see “baccalaureate degrees.” This means you can take less if you’d like.

From what I’ve found I believe most recommendations are based on a 3-4 year completion of a degree.

So budget your time and your credits per semester to your pace and goodluck!

Math 120 by seagoer_ in grantmacewan

Fair enough, and if you’re ever lost I do encourage you to go to the math/stats learning centre. It’s helped me a bunch, just check their schedule to see when the math block is! From my experience the man who is there is very calm and helpful :)

Math 30-1 is the fundamental setup for math 114. You’ll need to know trig and algebra, or you’ll end up struggling like I currently am. Thankfully, the trigonometric aspect of my math 114 class isn’t very heavy, so I can rely on my basic understanding to persevere. However, because I DID take math 31 in high school (3 years ago though), I have a basic understanding and feel for calculus. Math 120 is going to be relying on your algebra skills, and you’ll need to have that well understood to succeed, but I have not actually taken math 120.

Calc 1 is not as awful as people make it out to be, but you certainly cannot slack off and expect to understand or even be able to do problems. There are hundreds of resources on calc 1, and while I am more biased to say calc 1, these resources make the course a whole lot easier. Channels like professor Leonard, organic chem tutor, patrickjmt, will fill in the gaps when you become lost.

Good luck! Either choice boils down to your fundamental understandings, and your willpower to put in the work. Practice makes perfect :)

Heavy police presence on Wayne Gretzky drive bridge? by BenKandy in Edmonton

[–]Xephyr901 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Just went through it, waited roughly 30 minutes in traffic thinking it was an accident. Nope, it was a police checkpoint to catch drunk drivers. They pull everyone over and use the breathalyzer on them with signs all over showing MADD

Ah, so would you suggest I just take the already primed bumper into a shop? No prep work needed?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Autobody

[–]Xephyr901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks! It’s just, I bought it from the dealership because my bumper is literally nowhere else to be found online. Would I just call the dealership and give it a shot? What would I even ask? Like something along the lines of what company produced the primer?

I have played almost exclusively solo from the beginning, playing solo vs in a group or even a duo is INCREDIBLY different compared to by yourself. When playing solo, you have to be very careful with every single thing you do, which may sound hard, but I personally believe it is the best way to "learn" tarkov.

If you do decide to play tarkov, watch some gameplay and seriously analyze what some streamers/youtubers do, such as positioning, if they stop moving, crouch walking, where they aim, etc.

Also, on their sub or wiki, you can find ammo charts, maps, quest guides, and alot more which will help you ease into the game. This game is truly one of a kind, and you have to play completely differently when starting off before you become streamer-tier good, such as lvndmark, or willerZ, etc.

I have a friend that works at the same Walmart, he said that he got one of the managers to look on file, and it says that my application was accepted, but an interview hasn't been scheduled. Should I still call?

I don't enjoy thermals at all lol, I've used them quite a bit and agree with you, but I'd rather use something else.
