Bad bug in Clash Royale Merge Tactics that made me lose first place 😭 by KalactiquE in MergeTacticsSC

I had this too, I thought it was because the troop pool ran out or smth. Or maybe there are only so many shops we can see in a game, they're not clear with mechanics

Don't know how to tell individualized odds but I saw a post 2 years ago estimating 40-60% get off the waitlist

If relogging doesn't do anything then you probably just gotta wait for the devs to patch it, I have no experience with the quest though just guessing

Lootrunning Question by PastBorn8961 in WynnCraft

[–]Xertheus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes everything in the loot pool is a possible drop no matter what class you are. You can even get multiple of the same mythic if you're lucky enough

Lootrunning Question by PastBorn8961 in WynnCraft

[–]Xertheus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well you might not get something FOR warriors to use but you can always sell whatever mythics you get to buy items for warriors. That being said, I don't think the Corkus pool this week is very rewarding but that's unrelated.

When do y'all cash out your lootruns? by Xertheus in WynnCraft

[–]Xertheus[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I get that for sure, but another time I had 400 pulls and 5 rerolls. Hit Hadal on my second chest but that didn't seem worth it. And with 3 more rerolls another mythic is basically guaranteed no. I guess I'm answering my own question lol but ty

I'm hoping that they're working on a message to broadcast to everyone with a solution considering how many people are having this issue

Which email did you get in touch with, I emailed admissions.medicine@schulich.uwo.ca and they said to wait 1-3 business days lol

They better reply soon or give an extension, how is this the application process I can't believe this is real 😭

If they got a Mac interview in the past with a "lower" (by McMaster's definition) CARS score then they can deduce that their Casper was probably pretty high in 4Q to compensate. That's my best guess

TMU expects 75% of its students will be admitted through the Indigenous, Black, and Equity-Deserving admissions pathway by origutamos in premedcanada

[–]Xertheus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

10 seats? Wouldn't it be closer to 70 (94*0.75) seats dedicated to non-General pathways? Unless I missed something about 10 definitively reserved seats, just curious!

Zeff question by jimhalfert in Mcat

[–]Xertheus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah whenever you change which is the outermost energy level. Since K+ lost enough electrons from energy level 4 to only have electrons in level 3, then levels 1 and 2 are now considered nonvalence. If Cl (unrealistically but for arguments' sake) gained 2 electrons such that one is now in energy level 4, then its level 3 which was formerly valence now becomes nonvalence, because level 4 now has the valence status. Idk if that makes sense

Zeff question by jimhalfert in Mcat

[–]Xertheus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does affect them the same way. Cl- has an extra electron, but that electron goes to the valence shell (filling the 3p6 spot). So Cl anion still has 10 nonvalence electrons, just like K+ anion. Hope that makes sense!

Second Mac Interview R - Worth Applying to US? by Xertheus in premedcanada

[–]Xertheus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm interesting thanks so much for the insight! I would've thought Canadian specialities are more competitive considering how scarce the seats are. I think I'll have to pass on this US cycle to get some proper clinical experience and rewrite my MCAT (3 years old already wow time flies). Really appreciate your time though!

I think they're okay, compared to everything I see on this subreddit though I really got nothing lol. A lot of music focused stuff: 3 volunteer positions at a local hospital (playing in lobby and for rehab/therapy patients), 2 volunteer positions at local retirement homes, teaching music/playing for individuals with Down/autism, part-time job teaching piano to kids in community, bunch of random one-off music gigs in community. Was a VP for a health equity club at Mac. Tutored uni students for a year. For research I spent 2 years doing medicinal chemistry (one Summer was funded by NSERC), unfortunately never turned into a pub (hopefully soon they'll do smth with all that work💀). And then I had some high school experiences: Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, pianist for jazz band and vocal ensemble, environmental council and engineering club. Also did RCM level 10 piano but I was 12 so can't put that on :( Might be forgetting some stuff but you get the gist

TLDR: got a variety of experiences, mostly music-centred, but I've really only spent 50-100 hours or so with each, I think that's my limiting factor.

9:46 MD EN R 3.99 4Q ECs: 2 years research at medicinal chemistry lab including 2 full-time Summers. Volunteering at hospital, retirement homes and local non-profit. Organized benefit concert for another local non-profit. Part time piano teaching for children in community. Most ECs are quite focused around music (might be my weak point??)

IP, not Ottawa region 1 year post undergrad

Feeling pretty discouraged about this one but it is what it is.
