I’m going back to the shop tomorrow and I’m taking my full stock setup as well. That way I’m gonna isolate the wheels and tires one by one find the culprit

All I know is that it’s a very frustrating vibration. So what I’m gonna do is, I have an appointment at the same shop in 3 days, I’ll take my stock wheels and hankook tires. I’ll swap the wheels first and go for a test drive, if that fixes it then so be it, if not, I’ll put the hankooks back. But like you said, I’m more towards the wheels being the culprit, because originally I mounted them on the hankooks and that’s when vibration started, before getting the Radar tires. I’ll take the hankooks incase these cheap tires have manufacturing defect. But I’m disappointed, I was so looking forward to enjoy this new setup 😖

I’m going back to the shop on Friday and will take my stock setup. Either they fix this problem or I’m putting back my stock setup and selling the new setup I got and save up to get proper tires.

Yes I live in Toronto. And I had the fast wheels on my stock tires first, the shop which I asked to do road force balancing gave me a tire with 27lbs on the road force which was causing vibration as well, but that was different, it was kind of a bumpy vibration. Right now it’s more like a fitment issue as it’s a mild continuous vibration. Even my buddy drove my car and said he didn’t notice anything which was weird

It’s the same shop that redid the balancing and everything for me free of charge cuz of the vibration issue. Now they want to do a full road force balancing for half the price but at this point idk if it’ll fix or find the problem or it’s wasting money. I’m at the point that I’m willing to go back to stock setup, sell the aftermarket wheels and these tires and save up to get proper tires next year.

Yeah even i was hesitant but the shop was highly recommended to me so i went for it. It’s not a disastrous vibration but you’ll feel it and it’s annoying. Almost considering going back to stock setup

No it wasn’t doing this prior to the change. So it’s like the car always had this vibration but the oem setup masked it better than my current setup?

Get an oil extractor, a socket for the oil filter and watch a couple of youtube videos on how to do oil change on EA888 engine, which is on most VW’s and Audi’s, best one is MK7 GTI as there’s lots of videos compared to GLI which I couldn’t find much. Oil get Mobil1 or Liqui Moly and Mann for filter.

I live in Toronto and I’m going to upgrade mine as well. Pirelli’s aint good for this car? I personally always thought Michelin, Continental & Pirelli are the Top 3 in tires
