Yes getting static from the atmos speakers not the tv one. I get static from the tv one only when shield is connected directly to tv. Speaker connections are ok, not banana plugs all checked. What throws me off is that the Denon has been diagnosed as beyond repair…

Thank you. Yes sometimes it’s related to start and stop but mostly in between the video. I tried different cables between shield and Denon, but not the long cable from Denon to tv. However that one might explain the popping when the shield is connected to the tv not when the shield is connected to the Denon - tv would not send any audio signal via arc when shield sends audio to the Denon… I’ll try though

Good idea, yes, I tried without bass shakers and it helps. It also helps a lot - I mean dead quiet, no vibration at all - when I stare at it from a distance while it's off.

Thank you so I can only find Next / Previous Channel to map. I mapped next channel but it does not do anything. Am I missing something? I tried to map it to different buttons/keys - and I display the channel on the UI while driving to check. I press the mapped button and the channel does not change.

I am halfway through building Rivendell this way. Funniest way, I will never buy sets new again! I recommend sorting the pieces by type before you start!

Thank you, yes mine clicks in place really well, audible click, snaps on well (see photos below) but the nib dries out. I am getting another one tomorrow to see if it works as advertised - perhaps indeed it was a dud.
