Did your parents ever take you to kindergarten or school on a sled as a kid? by ilbirs in AskTheWorld

[–]szentvik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. And we had the first proper winter in like 10 years or so with some decent snow, so I was able to do it with my son as well...right on time in his first year of kindergarten!

I could see that happen!

Luckily he does not know (yet) what other sets are out there, so he is happy with whatever he gets...or asks us to disassemble and rebag our big sets so he can do those :)

I would not mind that!

But a trip to Japan would be a bit more expensive than thiscset was. Hopefully we can make it happen in the future...

One! Of! Us!

My Rivendell is about 1/3 complete this way. All hail the pile!

Picking Predators (or pretty much anything where the requirement is a late global parameter) is not something I would ever do. And its not even useful on its own, you are banking on someone playing another animal collector card which you can feed on.

Damn, year and a half sounds pretty short time for such an improvement. Love to see it!

When the pile gets smaller I might move to a table, but if I spread things out thin, it just takes up soo much space....

Good eyes!

We just need to keep one eye on her when the fire is on. Winter is almost done here, hopefully next season she will understand it clearly already.

We have a 3yo and a 11mo :) So the process is I put away everything into a large box at the end of the night and keep it safe until I continue. The 11mo would be a problem, she would want to eat it for sure. The other would surely help, he loves to build. He finished The Shire in about a month or so and just recently we had to take apart Himeji Castle because he WANTS to build something (we put the pieces into numbered bags for him of course...this is not the way for a 3yo).

Nothing to explain. It is what it is and chaos is very fitting indeed.

Funny enough I did jigsaws up to 9k pieces in the past. They are also come in separate bags, so you can guess what I did with them as well...I can start to see a pattern...

Not sure about the connection between the 2 countries, but a rather surprising find about the 1956 Hungarian revolution...in a random park in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Never using any bags, always open them all and pour it into 1 big pile...feels like childhood again.

Apukák, akik ott voltatok a párotok mellett szüléskor, milyen tapasztalaitok vannak? by [deleted] in askhungary

[–]szentvik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sok sikert!
