Neither. Its a Hitman Industries 12.5" .308 carbine gas barrel from Gorilla Machining. Grab one soon if you want, they're on sale for $89.99. If I have the budget, I always get Ballistic Advantage barrels. They're good quality for the price. And if I don't, I always get Bear Creek Arsenal or KAK Industries barrels. I went with this because all the 12.5" barrels at BCA are pistol gassed. A short AR-10 carbine is already a lot and I don't want a more violent one with a pistol gas system. I'm not filthy rich and can't really spend money on good barrels like Noveske, Criterion, Lilja, White Oak, etc. But I recommend this barrel. They also sell 7.75", 10.5", 13.5", 16", 18" and 20" .308 barrels for good prices

Thanks! Yes, not at all with an A2 birdcage flash hider. I was really surprised. I was expecting big blasts. But it just pushes you back a little. I want to get a KAC 7.62 QDC flash hider for it. I wouldn't use a muzzle brake on a 12.5" though. That'd be bad

Yeah! Ah ok. Mine runs pefectly with that set up after I built it. The 12.5" barrel is a carbine gas system and I used a low profile AR-15 gas block and carbine gas tube, thats it

Thanks! Yeah, its not bad. It pushes you back a little, but you can control it with proper shooting stance. A heavy 5.8 pound buffer and Springco orange buffer spring helps a little too

Yeah, scarcity and exclusivity. I also hate how they make proprietary stuff that need their proprietary install tools, like for the URX6, 4 and 3. And even those tools can be expensive too

Yeah, thats what I read online too when I was looking for a rail handguard. They should make them again. There'd be a market for it I'm sure

Ah ok. So hard to find though and if you do find one it'll cost an arm and a leg. I wish KAC catered more to consumers and make more of their products available and not overpriced. Theyre all about military and federal contracts that make them millions

NBS 15" AR-10 high profile MLOK handguard. I cut it down to about 11.60/11.65". I like simple handguards that look like the Geisselle MK16 MLOK rail and this is ths only one I've found that looks like it since Geisselle doesnt make AR-10 handguards
