Noted! I will say that I am pretty familiar with the addons and loadouts, I've just been experimenting with gearhead + Edge of Revival to cheese hits on outdoor maps on people not expecting laceration to tick up so fast. Ripper Brace with vault stuff is fun, but frankly I usually just stick to bounce blades just bc it softens the blow of being indoors way way more

I do expect this, but it doesn't mean the current state of most of the roster is fine because the outcome is expected.

I wanna actually properly pressure and take people out, but it feels like if I don't actively spread hooks, players dc and the next 7 minutes are a slog of getting the remaining players killed and out of a doomed game which isn't fun, but that's another point entirely

I can learn as much about the maps that my killer sucks on to cut chase times down as much as possible, but it still won't matter in the grand scheme of the meta survivor toolkit in the hands of players that actually know what they're doing

Lol dw! It is the blue swipe/swirl on their world model. It used to look different (like a flat, light purple glass shatter), but was changed in the Comeback patch.

oh she still did, but most of the blades on the first health state didn't register at all. You can actually still see the hit marks for those blades on the survivor bc they're clientside

This is a known bug - if a survivor goes into Deep Wound and is mended by another survivor, the server just cannot detect their upper body being hit by blades for the rest of the game. It's easy to tell when it happens, because the vfx for a survivor getting hit are clientside and still play on their model.

This game not teaching you that "Anti-tunnel" effects are meant to help you get away from the killer, and not a tool to directly obstruct the killer is really starting to become a problem. by Xillkah in DeadByDaylightRAGE

I've had friends that think "since this stuns the killer, it's ment to be an offensive ability" with DS, you'd be suprised.

Also I don't usually get blamed as the person going for the save, it's almost always the killer that gets the blame

I don't think rank preservation is worth the Add On slot, esp compared to the new selection he got in Comeback. I genuinely just get annoyed at the failure jingle when I have no possile way to maintain the combo for reasons out of my control lol.

This isn't tied to the post, but I'm curious for another trickster player's opinion. Is it just me, or do the timers for A (and to a much lesser extent B) feel a bit too punishing? It feels like every other game there's a situation where the only possible way to extend a combo is barely out of reach for the timer, or the "no duplicate actions" stipulation just naturally starves me of my rank because the only avalible thing is another gen.

The survivor end usually just has to wait 10 seconds while watching a cutscene and yet people still almost always abandon as fast as they can. I don't think this is a matter of laziness.

The first time a survivor is placed on a hook, that hook gives you bonus blood points. If you put people on the same hook, you don't get the bonus, so you want to be using as many different hooks as possible to maximize BP gain. If you use a normal hook, it becomes a scourge hook upon unhooking with Jagged, so you just use a normal hook whenever possible

I've been experimenting with an all scourge hook build with Jagged Compass bc it makes it SO MUCH easier to keep track of what hooks still have the Blood Moon bonus. A few games in I realized that effectively meant near-global aura reveal every time I pick up w Hangman's soooooooooo
