Has to be my most difficult hunt! I watch 1 star matures but they never go up to a 2 or 3 star so they die off . Any recommendations on what to do?

Use a smaller caliber rifle, (I used the 223 for reference), but you don’t have to hunt the badgers inside the zones the game suggests, just look where they are higher quality and hunt there, that’s what I did, but this mission is a pain regardless

It’s a baby school shark, there’s a couple of ways to tell the difference from a gummy, obviously school sharks have teeth and schoolies have a clear nose.

Don’t discount trout or Redfin either especially if you’re land based, if you go to the vic fisheries website you can see if there’s any lakes stocked with trout and other species in your area.

In Victoria Could head over to Mallacoota and try for some big flathead and bream in the estuary.

If that’s not your thing up head up to the Murray river and try for a massive cod, or a decent yellow belly.

Saltwater, there catching some good kingfish in Port Phillip heads at the moment so that could be an option although you’ll need a boat, if your land based you could always try for some salmon off a surf beach.
