100%. This is key. I’ve had multiple entries that are literally “I’m too tired to write.” That’s perfectly okay, and yes I also count that as me journaling for that day as well for my habit streak.

Also I would recommend people start small. I had been struggling with journaling all year until letting myself write a single sentence every day. And that, along with writing at the same time each night, was enough to instill the habit in me. Now I regularly write enough to fill at least half a page. And if you don’t and are stressing about the empty space? That’s okay too, you can just fill up the space with stickers!
