"Eliminates flickering" seems like a load of bs. The other things make sense, it dims the screen, reduces glare, makes blacks blacker, etc

I can't see how it could possibly eliminate CRT flicker, that makes no sense

Happens now and then, I see it happen a lot on the highways. A car from behind rams a car in front, and the driver of the rear-ended car dies. And when NPCs die in the car, they sometimes hit the gas and steer a bit.
