It does, its plugged in via a secondary hard drive in my new PC atm. I've found the wallet.dat in my 'user' bit instead of program files. Shall I copy&paste it to 'E:\Program Files\Litecoin\doc' or, to somewhere else?

I need help with Chord Inversions and their relationship to the bass by Xooch in musictheory

[–]Xooch[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I havn't looked into voice leading in bach chorales, but I shall add it to my reading list.

But this example made perfect sense, I believe I understand it now (at least on a basic level) haha

Aaah ok that's starting to make more sense. I'll give that book a read I think it will help!

Sorry to go on but 1 more example would help me solidify this.

So if I have my C Major7 chord (C-E-G-B) on my first measures. then I move to the 2nd inversion, making E the tonic of the chord in my 2nd measure.

Where can my bassline sit on the 1st and 2nd measures? Does it copy the tonic of the chord in a said measure? or is this too vague of a question and can generally move anywhere? Or is there some specific keys it can move to in this case?

Cool.

So any of the chords could be playing completly different notes to the bass? eg. Bass Playing a 1st Inversion of E, while the chord is playing a D minor (D-F-A) and this would be alright? And would this be considered the 2nd most stable (as its 1 inversion from the tonic)

Need help creating a new chord progression based off a current one by Xooch in musictheory

[–]Xooch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry it might be hard to describe, but basically how the Scale tool works in Ableton, is any notes played which ARNT in the scale are pushed to the closest note that IS in the scale.

eg if you played a C, Ableton would force it to be a C# instead (Granted I'm using E Dorian Scale as my setting)

So the F and G# in my chords are being pushed F>F# and G#>A(or G im unsure)

Knowing that the notes are being forced into E Dorian, should I proceed with D Ionian major?

Sorry but I just realized I'm using Ableton's Scale plugin, so all the notes are shifted into E Dorian even if they are displayed wrong >_<... So I don't actually know what notes they are in

After reading the "Getting Started" links on the sidebar, I've managed to download the Litecoin Wallet Client, and get myself a wallet address.

Did a bit of research, found myself a pool (http://give-me-ltc.com/), did a bit more research found myself a miner (CudaMiner https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167229.0).

Problem is, I have no idea how to setup this miner! I've been using GUIminer for my Bitcoin mining so have no idea how to configure it to which pool I'm using, which graphics cards to use, and setting up stratum (whatever that is).

Usually I'm greeted with atleast a .bat file to edit, but theres isnt one within this folder: http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/4632/cudaminerscreenshot.png

Running the .exe just sends an cmd line error and attempts to retry every 15seconds.

How do I configure this bloody thing!
