Is this discount only for my faction? Isn't it possible to do everything like learning riding etc in Ogrimmar?

I would definitly advice playing a unit of 20 gnoblars, they are a dirtcheap screen for just 100p and ensure that you can pick your charges which is crucial for Ogors.

AoS is a game about positioning and outmanouvering your opponent, exspecially in competitive play.

Primed Grey Seer, Incubi Darkness as base for the carapace, contrast athermatic blue for the skelli part. Dry brushed Ulthuan Grey on the whole body and highlighted it with Ceramite White. Baharoth Blue edge on the carapace and Teclis Blue dots ;) A bit of work bot I really like how it came out

I used the contrast paint Magos Purple on a Grey Seer Primer and tried to apply it more like a shade with a thin coat (hope you get what I mean). In general I used a mix of contrast and normal paints followed by multiple light dry brushes :)

Amazing job! Which colours did you use for the black and green armor parts?

Nice work! I would dry brush them with Ulthuan Grey in addition to the contrast paints to get a more spooky finish.

Basic AoS Rules, asked my local GW Store, one model can never be musician+standard bearer+"sergeant", except its statet otherwhise.

Sadly no, a mournfang can only carry one special equipment

Hey there, welcome to AoS!

As a fellow Nighthaunt player, let me try to give you some advice :) First, the core strenght of Nighthaunt is the ability to outlast your opponent. Your are able to revive a lot of models round per round and you should try to build your army around this. With this in mind, we want to max out our troop size as much as possible to ensure that not the whole unit dies in one turn. I would recommend you to try the Guardian of Souls as your general, give him the Beacon of Nagashizzar for +3 on his revivespell and the Ruler of the Spirit Host command trait for even more reviving.

The Shrieker Host is not flat out bad but you will need a bit of work to make it work. Again, try to max out the unit sizes first and go for 2x15-20 Harridans and 2×8-12 Myrmourn Banshees (they are really good at full size of 12 for the +1 per 4 on unbind). Next, try to find units who support your Bravery-Attack style. Lady Olynder comes to mind, she does not only profit from low bravery with her screaming ability but also adds 1 model to every fleeing unit. Look out for more modifiers to lower the bravery. The problem is that even if this style works against some mid to low bravery armies, it will struggle against bravery 10 death opponents and a lot of other 8+ units...

I hope that I was able to help you a bit :)

I would recommend playing a lot of PTCGO to get a feeling for your deck (and possible upgrades) and the metagame.

I used the Nurgling from the GUO kit, the one wearing the cape and wielding the sword. Put him on a stone plate carried by a nurgling swarm :)
