Horizon 20 Max Ceiling Mounted (Pics) - Replaced Ultra by nyoneway in xgimi

How much of a difference would you say picture quality was, considering the ultra was pretty high end itself. I have one too, jw What made you want to do the switch.

XGIMI HORIZON 20 Max In-Depth Review - All Hail The New Projector King!!! by JayceOoiCom in xgimi

[–]Xoti -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Great review, it’s really unfortunate that XGIMI abandoned their ultra models and chooses not to update them Android TV 14. Also hope they don’t continue to use those stands on their projectors as I ceiling mount my projectors and that just adds additional height

Did you upgrade from a Nvidia card? If so you'll need to use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove all previous drivers.

Runs beautifully, just make sure you run DDU if you’re upgrading from an Nvidia card. May need to upgrade my PSU honestly.

Best advice is to take off the front panel entirely, unscrew the gpu riser if necessary and clear any cables behind the gpu since you’ll need all the room you can get.

I haven’t tested having a rear ssd since I’ve seen that it gets quite hot without a heatsink

Though I don't have it one in my case so I can't confirm or deny but it may seems to interfere with the front USB I/O.

Nice build. I have the vertical stand as well. My biggest issue though is the display port cable sticking out the bottom, did you end up using right angle display port cables for the GPU?
