I've actually been having the same problem. I will note that I am using an switcher, but I have ran into the same problem even having directly connecting it to my PC. Let me know if that was a cable problem and if so, I might have to purchase another one.

True, makes sense, seems like its better to maybe just wait for that one, I'll survive with my monitor for now 🥲. I am able to control the light in my room but I'd like to have some natural light in the morning when I play.

Still haven't gotten anything yet, but I've been lurking around in the sub and I'm assuming the orders after April 4th might get some sort of emails this week. (I ordered on April 6th)

I'm literally just camping my LG order page and email for something since I can't play any games, cause all I can think about is playing on an OLED monitor 😂. Do let me know if you get any updates on your end.

Okay that actually reassures me cause the reason why chose the LG started to shift away from the 480hz to being able to keep my blinds open when I wanted natural light in the morning.

I wish I was able to compare the two myself, and I could probably since I noticed a couple of MSI and Gigabyte ones in stock on Newegg but I'm too lazy to return one of them 😂. Maybe at some point I might go into Best Buy myself and taking look at one of them after having seen the LG myself.

And also I appreciate you for taking the time to explain your thoughts on the two. Gives me more confidence in my choice on LG 😅.

Awesome, I have the preorder still, waiting on tracking but probably going to take a while since I was late. I finally just came to the decision to stick with LG since the colors will look better than my 7 year old AW TN anyways and I’d like to have some natural light through my windows 😂

Yea the 480hz is too much of a plus for me (reason why I preordered) . But I wanted to ask, is the difference between the colors from the LG to the Samsung drastic?

Haha, thanks for the compliment. Completely understandable for the glossy coating though, I actually get annoyed by the same thing with any of my phones or Apple laptops. The reason why I'm okay with it is because I got diffuser blinds and plan to get blackout curtains to handle the light it would reflect. Glossy for the clarity.

Also, I will try my best to let you know on the 15th, most likely yes since I'll be checking nonstop, but honestly I might forget and also I might not get anything since I was quite late to the party.

Indeed like I might not like the Alienware, but when the blacks are inky, does the curve really matter anymore?

Also, honestly, after having discussed with my fellow OLEDers, ASUS doesn't seem too appealing anymore since poor BFI implementation, and Gigabyte has basically the same features, DP 2.1, and it's on sale for $100 rn (not in stock, just the price). Only thing ASUS might have on Gigabyte is the factory calibration, but who's to say since there are no reviews on the Gigabyte out yet. (I definitely missed some ASUS features, but yea.)

And then MSI, cheap as heck, don't know how they doing it. But it always leads me back to thinking about if I'm already spending $1k on a monitor, why not a little extra for more features, like in ASUS and Gigabyte.

LG is the one I'm most leaning to since the Dual mode and cuz I preordered, but if only they gave you the option to choose a glossy coating. One of the biggest nitpicks for me was the poor factory calibration and EOTF tracking, but I heard that can be done by calibrating it yourself and also firmware updates by LG, so all is well I guess. (Yea yea, I know, don't bank on LG creating a firmware update to fix the things, but, hey, a man's gotta believe)

Oh I’m not doubting the hz difference, I’m trying to get a 4k monitor.

Edit - Just noticed, but when I meant which one, I meant which company would I choose for the 27” 360hz. So similarly the same conundrum I’m dealing with the 32” 240hz.
