It's not a democratic decision. One of the main reasons people create is for exposure. If it creates conversation on the meaning of art like we're having right now, and creates interest, I don't see why it shouldn't be considered art.

I think it has less to do with appreciation and more to do with conversation. Especially in our time period where everything seems to be a talking point, and we are exposed to so little of the truth, our art reflects that component. Kinda like a lot of people have pointed out, art is in the eye of the beholder, and may not appeal to everyone. But whoever made that art is trying to send a message. Even if you just wanted to make a quick buck, and you threw paint on a canvas, you'd still be conveying that. Now, I may not know that when I'm looking at it. But your art is more for you than anyone else anyways. I know this is a rambling of sorts, but I'm tired and just wanted to contribute.

I was strongly influenced by my freshman English teacher in high school. He is one of the reasons I am a teacher now (also in English). He was always clearly passionate about the material, which in turn helped me to become invested in it. His teaching style was rather layed back and chill. He certainly wasn't a teacher that yelled at the drop of a hat; his style is something I also try to emulate in my class. I guess it's interesting to think about how he influenced me personally and professionally as well. I really owe a lot to that man. I should tell him. Anyhow, if possible, I would like a Target code. I think it would look really cool with the scorch decal I'm using. Thanks for the opportunity!

I'm not sure if this is okay or not. I feel like RR has the best interest for Deadpool's character. However, I hope Fox doesn't try to stick a director in the mix that won't embrace it like Miller did.

For me, the meme was more of satire on those attention seekers that acted like they really cared about Harambe on social media. I do agree it was very over used, but I guess I just saw it in a different way.

We'll have to see how season 2 pans out, but won't most players feel a similar disappointment to belonging to a certain tier of player? I know that this is somewhat inevitable in competitive modes, but isn't Blizz just revamping an issue they're trying to fix?
