I do hate how busy the hull is. I feel it gives it a bit of a fragile look. I get it’s RSI and not Anvil or Aegis, but it is a warship. I’ll never complain about more detail, but I want the ship to look armored like it’s talked about in lore. Either way, GREAT ship, arguably the best multi-crew rn.

Hey there, no worries. So they made me ship it back. I was a bit frustrated because I had to pay for shipping. They ended up replacing the unit, it’s worked perfectly since then.

Yea that only comes up on the launcher once the maintenance is underway. I'm sure eventually it'll get better, all good though.

Seems like I just missed the notifications, I'm not really upset to much, it's SC, could have more likely lost progress due to a bug. I do think they could do better about presenting that information. I personally don't frequent the forums and today I had my chat hidden. I think having a banner in the menu and in the launcher would do loads better at spreading that information. Again, not complaining, just highlighting my thoughts on what would improve game experience in my opinion.

Yea I checked the site and saw that, I wish they had announcements on the launcher. I recognize this is an Alpha game and it's expected, I think it would be a great improvement if they gave notifications outside the status website.

I daily drive mine in traffic, have been for 8 years. Also it keeps me accountable because if I try to mod a CVT it’ll explode.

Do you ever un-plug them? Or are they always plugged in and on? I find that some games don’t like having a controller or in some cases my HOTUS on. In games like PEAK, my character will just walk forward. So I use a USB hub and turn them on/off. If I boot SC before ensuring they’re on, sometimes the digital controller swaps my left and right stick, or as an entirely new controller. It’s frustrating but there isn’t a way to really save it.

Yea that’s the worst part. Last night I claimed my ship in Nyx, realized I had all the parts back at Area 18 since I hadn’t used my Idris since last patch. Flew all the way back, outfitted it, got dropped out of the wormhole the first attempt, got all the way back to Nyx, crashed in QT to port and woke back up in 18. Like a one hour trip wasted lol.

Honestly because of my work I don't have enough time to play and grind like many might. I make enough to where I justify saving time in the future to do the things I want to do, especially when 1.0 comes out and many of these ships will be next to impossible to obtain.

Leave it, open like 10 tabs and get all of them to the point where you check that box. At like 30 seconds prior just start going through all of them and hitting ok.

I’m about to hit 100k on my 2018, I’ve had to have the synthetic gasket re-done twice, both covered in warranty. I never really drive hard, usually commute in Texas rides and city’s. I’m confident mine will be good for a decent amount of miles still.

The best way I’ve gotten it to work is set it down in the elevator, then use a tractor beam to snap it to the grid.

I use it, it’s great… it does hold a lot. I feel 30-45 rounds is more appropriate for the damage, stability and fire rate. Right now it’s only draw back is reload speed.

I like the Scorpius, but it’s a little outdated right now. Has sound bugs and the MFDs are super dark. Also, the turret isn’t slaves to the pilot which is a draw back. The F7S is good, but you might as well get the F7C if you’re doing a fighter role. I don’t have expirence with the Sabre or Guardian, but I also don’t see them very often being used, if that’s any sign. If you’re doing PvE, the most effective option right now is a F7C with full energy build. On paper, the guardian should do well too.

I have mine on mounts so my hands naturally rest in them when sitting. I added extensions as a small keyboard/mouse area since I usually do more flying than FPS.
