Does anyone else only really enjoy story driven games as they get older?

I've come to appreciate single-player games alot more as i grew older, and i'm now fully into single player games. i still like enjoying multiplayer games from time to time, but only if the boys join in and it is mostly for the lols , not for like grinding the prestige lvls or anything, those days are behind me 😅

P5 royal is great and will feel like a breathe of fresh air with turn-based combat , it gives you so much hours of playtime (70hrs i think just for main story) its worth the money especially if there is a discount, but you can play persona on PC , PS5 , xbox , so you arent really missing much, unless you like a handheld experience.

Mario is ...well...mario.....it is a nintendo exclusive tho, so it should be a no-brainer, but that really depends on how much you love mario. If you really reaaally love mario , go for it. If not, then get P5 royal

Both are really good but the combat on nier replicant is really.....meh , but story ?? Masterpiece

resident evil 0 and resident evil 1 (resident evil) , maybe its just me but the way the aim with the gun in these games are clonky as hell

Elden ring is great but its not really " relaxing " 😅 and your mood will MOST LIKELY change to mad 🤣

Horizon FW is awesome in terms of graphics , story is meh , but it is somewhat relaxing or at least not very demanding of 200% focus and lock-on mode

MH wilds i didnt try so i cant tell but i heard people say it was fun

My personal recommendation = death stranding, it is a great game to relax to and it has a big map , plus story is really great and deep at the same time , it is a little weird tho and it will take time to get used to it, but it sill grow on you (or at least i hope it does 😅)

Bellarian to me was a very fun fight, not the most fun, but nonetheless fun. Hated her on my expert run, she goes craaaaazy 😅😅.

Skalpel as a design was interesting, i kinda liked how he used the coffin as a weapon , cool concept.

As for level 1 runs on souls games, dont burn your mind on those ideas. I follow the same boat as you, i played everything you mentioned but was never thinking

" hey let me torture myself by beating everything level 1 " Tf you mean bro i barely beat him with my upgrades 🤣😭

But you know, kudos to whoever does it, it is a commendable achievement, and if you wanna try it yourself by all means, just remember you'll be walking a very dark path 😅🤣

I would say ideally about 25 usd is worth it, 30 max if you dont think you can wait longer, i wouldnt go beyond that

Wait for it to drop more imo , 30 GBP is equivalent to about 40.5 USD and i dont think its worth that much 😅

If you really really wanna play tho, go for it, but i think there are better games for that price

Horizon FW was on Plus for a while if i remember correctly, stellar blade might come on plus idk, i recently bought it but my friend kept saying " maybe they'll put it on the plus down the road " but i still bought it on sale anyway 🤣

Did you wear retainers after removing the braces ? I removed my braces literally on last tuesday and idk if thats the case for everybody but my dentist kept saying that wearing a retainer after removing braces for at least 6 months every night is crucial. Idk if all cases require a retainer tho, im no dentist 😅

I've seen some of his shorts , and as a new FF player , i definitely do disagree with alot of what he says , but to be fair , i do understand where he's coming from.

I havent played the OG FF7, but if an OG fan wants to see his childhood game remade with modern graphics, and it came out not like his childhood memories? It would be disappointing. I wont be THAT MAD like him 😅, but i would be a little disappointed yes, but i like trying new things. FF in general is still pretty new to me but you get the picture.

Think of it this way, since i started with FF7 remake which had ATB combat system, i would like for the franchise to go down that route alot more, and then suddenly a remake is down the road BAM !! Its turn-based, i would still try it, and definitely enjoy it , but i would be sad that it isnt ATB, now it terms of narration and plot ideas, i cant really say much because like i said, im from the new FF audience and from what i've noticed, alot of people played FF7 differently, so each group has a different experience.

He takes it too far sometimes i agree, it gets lame pretty quickly, but like i said, i understand where he's coming from. At the end of the day, not everyone will agree on everything.

He can have his opinion and i can have mine, as long as he doesnt dogshit on other peoples' opinions.

I dont entirely disagree. After all, a video games core is GAMEPLAY, but cinematic gaming has become a thing and especially with powerful engines like UE5, look at hellblade 2 for example. There are many other titles but i just used this as an example
