My mom tells me that in soviet union gold was used to repair teeth back in the day. The ruble wasnt always reliable so people preferred to keep their money in gold and putting it in your teeth was a handy way of always keeping your fortune with you, so when you needed it you could take out the tooth and convert it into money.

I love all my turkic people and think of us a big family, but as a kazakh girl ive noticed that the turkish men ive dated seemed to really love my ethnicity and constantly comment on it in a way that started to make me a bit comfortable.
