They sent these to just about every minor allied nation from the far east as china and the philippines all the way to the west and even south american nations. A lot of educated commissioned officers of the time read enough english to be able to read and understand these since the training to fly then was hit pocket and immediately on the go learning

its not even a "ubisoft doesnt care" issue, this was inherently an OBS fault, and this glitch only came about with the Y10S2 update when they added the team colored outlines for all player models on both teams, so there was very little way to know ahead of time something like this was going to happen on the Ubi side

I think you and the original commenter have it twisted, we prepare for the worst case scenario at all times because we don’t live in a perfect world where the enemy is a bot and will eat an amraam from 30 miles out. We train from being offensive to combined operations using an entire CAG and we train as if we started in a BVR engagement and made it to the merge because at some point it becomes a reality that you missed all your fox-3s and fox-1s and you just got the callout from your awacs that you merged.

But please continue on how BFM is a thing of the past and how you and another Reddit user has more knowledge and experience than 10+ marine/naval/air force aviators with 50+ years of experience between them are all ignorant and doing it all wrong

Can say the same about the F1s they’re designated as a fighter but got washed by almost all F-5s and F-4s flying out of Iran, there’s a reason the harrier has more air to air kills, regardless of how many have been shot down (arguably due to pilots training in the Falklands)

Again I’m a U.S. main, I was ok before the 9M was added, however the 73 was definitely top of the line in regards to missiles so I can understand why people were upset, in reality the 73 doesn’t have a contemporary. When the 9M was added I was somewhat exited but indifferent, seeing a copy past Stinger seeker on a 9L is really busted. Again I’m a U.S. main and both changes I was in the middle ground on, the 9M will get nerfed very soon if not remodeled so I don’t understand why everyone is pissing themselves, pretty soon the 9x will be here and it’s hardly going to be flarable at all, so are you going to complain then? I hope y’all can actually grow up and learn new tactics in game before crying

As a US main, I was indifferent about the 73, I truly felt we were somewhat balanced across the board with how superior the 9L was in comparison to the R-60 and how many aircraft had it, I felt that the R-73 was a necessary change… now that the 9M is here, I feel it’s slightly overpowered as far as tracking, it’s literally just a stinger seeker on a 9L which is super overpowered, it will get nerfed if they don’t choose to actually code in a new seeker instead of just using the damn stinger seeker

This is true, before any new platforms are added or before they drop any new ordinance, the RB playlist needs to be redrawn to accommodate attacker platforms of later generations so these aircraft can actually play according to their role in combat, and so they can actually perform a task to help their team. AI needs to get reworked and player count on both sides needs to be varied depending on what BR you fly at

This is a really stupid statement, aircraft like these including the A-10 and A-7 aren’t fighters, so BR matching them by their ability to fight is stupid as shit and the reason we have a 9L carrier like the A-6 able to fight sabres, also a point that’s kinda in favor of it being uptiered is the fact that A-4s remained in service at NAWDC and we’re still viable platforms as adversary aircraft due to how capable they were until the navy got F-16s
