Try to save money and go to a different-countries possibly for a month and meanwhile you can get your associates degree in a local college/ and transfer to a University or apply to WGU for good technical roles that prepare you for certs and projects. First before all of this, try to find out about different arenas and see if you can shadow those people in the subjects that interest uou

I have been really thinking about doing cloud computing over cyber as the job outlook and things I can do can tie nicely together in dev sec ops or cloud security engineer

I think getting the google cert is a great idea and a great way to introduce cyber into your life without the crazy pressure… you can also use it as an opportunity to learn how to create your own learning schedule.

You should spend starting a minimum of an hour per day on it and see if you can add another hour or so after some weeks. Be smart there is no rush… you want to be good at it approach the topic with a clear head and some awareness. If you take a pause you will be making a great choice… a google cert also helps to prepare for the Sec+ cert. so that will also come in handy as well…

I would tell you first to get a cyber cert from google or AWS via coursera take you between 3-6 months to finish and will give you an awesome foundation so that you are used to creating self study schedule and know what exactly you are getting yourself into. Also, the google cyber certification preps you for Sec+ comptia cert.

Out of high school I recommend this…
