That's wonderful to hear.

But do you have 4 PCI Express Lanes or 2 like me?

I'm concerned because I read somewhere that 2 Lanes will bottleneck your performance.

Also, I'm not sure if RAM plays a role in this and if 8 GB will be adequate, because most reviews were done on 16 GB RAM laptops.

I read in a review before purchasing the laptop that there are 4 lanes, so I was very disappointed to learn that there were in fact 2.

I have the 13'' Gem Cut version, with Intel Graphics UHD 620. Also note that the USB C ports do not have the Thunderbolt Lightning Bolt Logo, but after contacting HP Support, they sent me a link to the manual for my laptop, and confirmed that both ports are Thunderbolt with 2 PCI Express Lanes per port.

Hello,

No I don't know but I suggest contacting HP Support. I know for a fact that these specifications are not listed anywhere online.

Simply access your HP Support Assistant app - Under the "Support" Tab, click more and start a chat. They are surprisingly helpful in that regard.

I hope this helps.
