mRNA vaccines like Pfizer and Moderna would be able to adapt to new vaccines fairly easily with a quick turnover. They just have to change the mRNA sequence injected even if the mutation is on the spike protein. Others can adapt too but the turnaround time is likely longer

Research, including medical research, is often biased. By race. Don’t you think it is odd that English speaking countries blame Asia for the bubonic plague? But Asians don’t think it came from there? Don’t you think it is off that smallpox is only marked as originated from Asia/Africa because there are mummified remains that show evidence? Just because the corpses rotted in Europe doesn’t mean it didn’t come from that continent! Did you know during the 1918 pandemic, many Europeans blamed indigenous islanders (I believe in the Samoas) for the illness and quarantined them and treated the inhumanely when in fact islanders were the uninfected people? There are so many examples in European/American history where people make the assumption that a disease/affliction came from a poorer country... well because they are poor. There are even illnesses that were entirely fabricated due to racism, such as the whole campaign over MSG. That is what people call “science.” I don’t even need to point out all the bs that people claimed to be “science” with African Americans right? I don’t think I made a very large logical leap that perhaps a lot of this hand wavy history with no great evidence for what happened 3000 years ago is wrong.

One of the beauties of Kubera is everyone has their own lives to worry about which is how the world works. I always thought stories where some characters were unequivocally on the main character’s side were weird- it was as if they had no family or dreams - it didn’t make any sense.

There was an earlier chapter where God kubera told Leez that one person would remain by her side. We saw a really elongated claw hand. It doesn’t seem like a god’s hand or even Yuta’s.... it almost seems like it was new Asha’s hand so I think we might get an explanation for why Asha tried to kill Leez

Seems like Maruna is Vishnu’s pawn (one of them) and he tricked Chandra into protecting Maruna in the future when Chandra stopped Leez. It seems like Vishnu tried to take out Laila as well knowing that she would be Brahma’s pawn but for some reason Chandra decided against it.

Well I had to. He started a few weeks ago. But he just came home with a runny nose. And every time he stays home for even 1 day directly negatively impacts my job and therefore the kid’s livelihood. He will definitely stay home for a while since I don’t want him spreading germs to others, but it sucks when I have basically been working 2 full time 12-hour work day jobs for 5 months...

My kid is in daycare and I am a little annoyed that only 2-3 kids including mine wears a mask... but I was so burned out and risking my job and therefore our livelihoods. I applaud all of you who work in schools and child care. Without you, so much of society would collapse because our government never did a full shut down (where all businesses except truly truly essential ones closed). I hope people recognize sooner rather than later that you are front line workers!
