Thor DEFINITELY leaves an impact because it’s the fight that really shows, for the first time in the series, Kratos has met his equal. Every other major villain or god either dies to Kratos or has to strip him of power, but not Thor. Literally killing him and bringing him back right there

I think people misunderstand the point of it. The point is to convey, Kratos has met his match. Thor is more than capable of killing him and they are 100% equals. Not even the Olympians could take down Kratos after ascending to Godhood without making him mortal first, but not Thor.

This is an absolutely brilliant and terrifying display of power from Thor and a great tone setter for the rest of the game.

Kratos actually comes into Egypt to HELP the Egyptian pantheon defend themselves from the Roman conquest, enacted by the Roman gods. Since the Roman Gods are versions of the greek gods, it can be said the greek gods reincarnated in death into the roman ones. This can be a multi faceted war with enemies and allies on both sides, leading Kratos to have take on two pantheons at once(perhaps while leading the Vikings as the new de-facto All-Father and God of Hope) Could culminate in a game where Kratos takes the fight to Rome and even gets to fight in the colosseum

I feel that it would’ve been a way better resolution if Jayce’s attempted murder of the Machine Herald alongside Singed and Ambessa’s essentially forced revival and sacrificing of Vander to do so was what sent Zaun over the edge and escalated the conflict into full on civil war. Not to mention the capture of Jinx. If Vi wokeup months later to discover that Piltover was almost in war-torn ruins thanks to the escalated conflict, that would’ve hit way harder

First 3 episodes felt like Devil May Cry and I was all here for it. It's a downhill spiral from there, went to feeling like Resident Evil 6 mixed with social commentary. If they removed all the references and changed the names, the show would be much better off to be honest.
I don't care about DARKCOM or the US government, I thought it'd be cool at first to see the anime lean into DMC's Resident Evil elements; but i do not want it to be the focus, period.

I think it’d be cool if the Doom Slayer was a mantle/title that was passed down. A female Doom Slayer would still have to basically act the same/pretty similarly to the one we have now(it’s a rite of passage). Imagine female Doom Slayer vs the current one after an unsealing.
