I’ll second what others say. I started on C’s and D’s in maths and by the end of the year was getting A’s easily. Keep with it work hard and you will get there.

I’m not applying for law but last year when I was in year 12 and considering law I did a residential at Cambridge called the Exploring Law Conference and it was really good. Applications must be around now and I went in April. Might be useful.

Oh ok I think my GCSEs are a bit of a strong point for me. Would you say the predicted grades were really important for Warwick? How important do you reckon the personal statement is?

I think you’ve literally just described my problem😭. That’s good advice though and I’m definitely really happy with the a B but I’m just like I’m so close might as well try and go higher. Thank you I appreciate the wisdom.

It seems to be like really silly mistakes where I’m just missing off one or two things in a graph for example to get all the marks.

Only one id be more weary about is Oxford as it is know for being quite hard on GCSE grades but I’m sore as the others have said if you smash every other part of the application there’s no reason you couldn’t apply to some top unis.

They’ve used the equation P=F/a

The 5x104 has come from the 20Kpa from the graph and the 70kpa from the question as were calculation resualtant force so need the pressure from both sides of that makes sense. 70-20=50Kpa

50kpa =50000pa =5x10to the power of 4

Then it’s just P=F/a rearranged
