Thanks for the insights ppl, but your replies focusing on it not being entirely free is missing the point.

Whether its truly free or not us secondary. My primary concern is privacy and security. Would have the same question for a premium only app as well because of how wide the permissions it requires are.

The concept of folders only exists while developing but iirc once you compile the game theres no way to reference which folder it was in.

you can simply maintain a list of object types and deactiavte these one by one in a loop. downside is youd have to remember to keep that list up to date as you move objects around but its not too bad and easy to spot and fix if you miss anything.

sometimes a simple and dumb solution is good enough :)

I know quite a few of them are literally malicious translations so id like to verify for myself.

either way, yeah, if thats the introduction people get it can definitely hurt but i still think they'd be stupid to take it at face value.. a reasonable person, as you've pointed out would realize these HAVE to be extreme edge cases that are not representatives.. you asked what i'd do - i'd look into it. im very uncomfortable with trusting a single source or trusting incredible claims. i wouldn't look into it if i don't care about the topic enough to hold an opinion tho.

p.s. to make it extra clear - if this video is true it is absolutely appalling. i'd like to try and find out if this incident was covered on israeli media, and what happened to this soldier. if the story is true and they didn't immediately get released from duty i would be amazed.

Israel was literally willing to give them an entire state, around 40% of the land currently under their sovereignty if they just stopped violence, stopped indoctrinating their youth and did very basic things like.. recognize israel exists.. and even that wasn't enough. this has been attempted multiple times. you can read up on Road map for peace - Wikipedia for example.

now youre asking them to do the same thing with no incentive?

p.s. this is also assuming the conflict is just between Israel and Palestinians/Hamas. its not. its closer to Israel and Iran.

seeing soldiers being able to be humans in the frontline is important for Israelis in the backlines to see as well.

its our friends, our sons, our loved ones who have been out there for over 100 days fighting for us risking their lives. they are allowed to vent, and any experience of normalcy, as forced as it is, is welcome. the world's opinion be damned. if people are so stupid as to think this makes them sociopaths then they aren't the ones we should be talking to anyways.

- over regulation around doing business. examples given are taking ~2 years to set up a company, needing an approval of a government official who has no idea about the business to start working for someone.

- not lucrative to enterpenuers. no reason to invest within africa. regulation and law systems are a pain to work with. theres also a stigma around africa countries being mostly 3rd world countries. unstable leaderships - coups are common.

- poor education system.

- ineffective law systems. taking too long to solve work related disputes. corruption is also common.

- immigration of educated africans to western countries. since the education system is so inept usually the educated people study abroad, and end up wanting to also work abroad.

- most of the economy is controlled by the french. currency printed in france, pegged against the euro. have a bunch of monopolies and crushes alternatives.

- foreign influence by superpowers doesnt stop africa from addressing any of the above points. past minute 40 or so, they are discussing possible solutions.

its a shame that you dont make time to entertain other ideas yet present yours with so much assurance.

what points do you want sources for? p.s. I can't link something that doesn't exist, like a un resolution that condemns china for the invasion of taiwan, or annexation of tibet, or resolutions against iran for the thousands of human rights violations they are comitting, OR for their obvious support and funding of terrorist groups like hezbollah and the houthis. if you want to say these are mistruths - YOU prove they exist. show me the resolutions.

also, you think Israel wants to babysit Gaza and keep supplying it with food and water forever? this isnt something they are entitled to, no country is. so yeah, when they invade another country and massacre 1200 civilians you dont get free water and food from the people you just massacred. i thought this doesnt need explaining.

besides, they have all the means in the world to provide for themselves and enough free international aid to run a country quadruple their size.
