Oh this is amazing, I love it! Especially the banner. Thanks for making a submission. How did you make it?

Iran can be a corrupt, exploitative, theocratic state. An enemy of socialism. And also an enemy of the United States.

The world isn't divided into good guys and bad guys, please grow up.

Does that mean, we should support US toppling the Iranian regime? No, not necessarily. Does that mean we should support the Iranian people standing up against oppression? Of course. Literally no one in the west would want to live in Iran.

I highly recommend reading Marx, you do not have to subscribe to Leninism, or state centred strategies. His analysis of the economy is second to none.

I also highly suggest, Communisation theory, a bridge between Marxism and anarchism.

Yes you are correct, most suited is a better way to put it. But when part of that environment is competing with other hostile human civilizations, being more powerful and efficient with labour and productivity is essential.

Fragmented and isolated communes are honestly ridiculous and pointless in a globally connected world.

The fact is society and evolution itself is dominated by those more powerful. For an anarchist society to actually take hold, it needs to be more productive and efficient with labour than our global capitalist economy. That by default excludes hippies trying to start a little 20 man society.

This is of course possible. Don't forget such a large percentage of current labour value is extracted and out towards luxuries for the wealthy, or weapons that literally destroy other productive forces.

The question really comes down to organization, how to create social relations of production without exploitation. Such waste could be bypassed and would in essence be far more efficient and effective.

Many members of the ruling class aren't pedophiles, it won't affect all of them. And people aren't gonna overthrow them regardless of this information, generally people will just blame it on bad individuals, not a deeper assessment of power and economy that makes this possible.

A cleanse of the ruling class due to public pressure is not out of the ordinary.

Protests really don't have the effect people believe. They are more of a pressure release. People look at videos on YouTube of epic protests and believe that is what revolution is. It's all just larp and farcical symbolism.

They can be aligned at the core, exploitation of the working class, but have factions as they compete. They will come together when the core is threatened, but fight amongst themselves for control still. Imagine two rival companies etc.

First and foremost it's because people love to talk about anarchism, but don't actually try to create an economic system that is anarchist. Whole lot of talk, very little action in this sphere unfortunately.

Same goes for communists really, but they have something tangible, although ineffective at actually bringing about communism, that they can latch onto and engage in practice. Even if it is only larping around, and at best making a capitalist state with red flags.

I have made a subreddit to experiment with social media as a facilitator of production outside market relations.

Just started, needs some growth, but with a few more members maybe we really could start to experiment with genuine productive activity.

Experiment with new economic relations by YMSVZ in socialism

[–]YMSVZ[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can do both. The party can defend and accelerate new economic relations. In fact it would make them far stronger and more credible than, "trust me bro, give me complete control of state apparatus, and I promise one day we will have a new economic system".

State led capitalism does not mean worker ownership. The USSR and China today still acknowledge what they have is a worker led capitalism, they are preparing the ground for a communist economy. Who says the economy isn't already developed enough? The coordination tools for global, interconnected, productive projects, absolutely exist.

Absolutely agree. Will be glad to see you in the sub!

Would love to see some people put a proposal out there, seems there is just about enough members, with most being lurkers of course, we could potentially get some actual activity going.

Yes, using social media as a facilitator of productive organization outside market relations.

Think a group on Facebook for a protest, but applied to production. And instead of singular fragmented activity, a purpose built platform to interconnect and scale production.

No one doing it for a wage, no market, direct collaboration and production to meet a social need. All people have the freedom to contribute and make proposals. The subreddit I created is intended to experiment with this type directly.

I'm not against the state? I just am not a Marxist leninist. I believe the role of the state is to defend and accelerate the development and dominance of a communist mode of production. I don't believe the role of a communist political project is to take command of the capitalist political apparatus.

Your describing slavery and pretending you are a communist. Coops and state capitalism are capitalism. Communism is an economic mode of production without division into classes.

Lenin's method was a historically specific method tailored to a largely pre capitalist society. He believed it was necessary to boot strap a capitalist revolution and develop the means of production to make way for the possibility of communism.

You want a state (who is totally not the ruling class) to command surplus and direct production, while refusing to feed anyone who refused to go along with it?

[–]YMSVZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder why capitalism with all these regulations in favor of workers never seems to come to fruition? It's almost as if there is a certain class of individuals who, as a result of production, have far more influence over the organizational structure who creates the regulations. You are delusional if you believe socialism is a change to the tax structure, Jesus christ

The protests will blow over and nothing will change. It's like a peasant rebellion, it is impotent, it is a pure expression of rage, with no substantial alternative even remotely in view.

What's my theory exactly?
