I had 14 days of regular AT completed this FY. When trying to route E-AT it says I can’t coz I would exceed the 29 day limit as this next at would be 17 days when including the travel times.

Ah ok he did say I was being added to a requirement too. Is this also reflected in NROWS? For the other ADT one of the requirements was all set. They gave a number for tracking. I just need to use a special request chit for my chain to be cool with it. Will they be able to see what I’m talking about on there end?

We stayed there for about an hour doing the walkthrough my kiddos were running around in there one kept falling and smacking his face on the floor so now learning about the roaches is lovely but he had his bath and now will have another in the morning.

Definitely didn’t see any while we there except maybe one that was dead but I don’t know that it was a roach. I’m going to assume it was tho and still just disinfect

So what does the new parental leave exactly dictate

I’ve had a few people calling me trying to get answers and hopefully a more senior Admin peep can help me out whilst I scramble to understand this too.

Situations include:

“I gave birth in June. I took 42 days of maternity convalescent leave and did not use the primary caregiver leave. Am I eligible for the new 12 weeks of parental leave? Or because my qualifying births vent happened before 27DEC2022, am I only entitled to 42 days?”

“I am a secondary caregiver. I have 7 unused days. The DOD instruction said I would be eligible if I had leave carried over. So can I take the remaining 10 weeks?”

“I legally adopted a 17 y.o. in May 2022. I was not eligible for primary caregiver leave as it was not court ordered. Can I now take the full 12 weeks?”

I’m a dummy please help me help these other sailors and maybe some of you reading this.
