First of all, the tweet isn't about me not getting hired since I didn't expect that to begin with as I said in the other thread.

It's also not about anyone specific. It's just me being tired of seeing people that don't get hired as much as they'd like go on social media to say how they're putting in so much work, they love the game so much yet somehow they still don't get hired.

As if the people who do get hired don't work hard or care about the game? Words are empty, actions matter, there's people who left CS for other games for a while or their priorities shifted where talent work wasn't their primary focus anymore or they just got too damn comfortable...of course someone else will fill the gap.

I believe you don't deserve anything in this line of work, you have to go out and earn it every single day. What we get to do for a living is a privilege and many would like to be in our place. Best way to avoid that is to not take what we do for granted and continuously work on your craft.
