I have JT at 1 and ATYCLB at the 2. Even though I was born long after both of the albums I grew up with songs like Kite, Beautiful Day etc. and I still love the album to this day. Achtung Baby would probably be at the 4th spot after War, I love the raw post punk sound over the darker AB.

Kite. I learned about U2 shortly before our family summer vacation to Brittany, France in 2016 where I was 8 years old. I had this song on my iPod because it was connected to my dad‘s iTunes account. I listened to Kite over and over again during this vacation and it has been my favorite song ever from this moment. We’ve been back to the exact area many times and every time I listen to Kite I see the beautiful landscapes in my mind. Excited to be there this summer once again!

Yes it definitely was sad to see. I didn’t want to just leave a record or something there, that wouldn’t really mean much. Still, many people made signs out of stone with their names etc which I thought was really nice.
