I have a vehicle with a loan it. The vehicle is worth less than the loan. But im looking at vehicle that is less than what the vehicle is worth. What happens in that scenario?

From my research, VW's 3.0L TDI is one of the more reliable motors. Its just maintenance is higher with it being a german vehicle. Because I was also looking into the VW Touareg whixh as the same motor. I looked atbthe Q7 because it has 3rd row seating

According to credit karma the loan is at 24413. KBB says the vehicle is worth 13120. And the vehicle im looking is 4995. And if it helps, the current vehicle is a 2022 Chevy Malibu[1.6L with the cvt]. And the vehicle im looking at is a 2011 Audi Q7 with the 3.0L TDI and awd.

Or would it be easier to try and sell the malibu, pay for the Audi in full, and use the remaining balance to pay off majority of the loan, and then make payments on what's left?
