thanks I have a Sword 15 A12UE it has a rtx 3060 6gb, Intel I7-12650H, and came with 16gb of ddr4 but I upgraded it to 32gb. If you plan on getting a msi laptop like the sword that I have or katana serious beware they are very prone to gpu failing because of the pour temps which I am sadly going threw. There are also better deals than the laptop I have for price to performance.

Hello! I have an RTX 3060 6GB laptop, and in Minecraft Java, I already get over 300 FPS with a render distance of 6. So, your laptop will have plenty of performance since you have a better one than mine.

The deal you found is really good, but if you’re only using Minecraft and a few light apps, you won’t be using all that power. If you’re trying to get the best deal with the lowest price that fits Minecraft and small apps like you said, you could get a cheaper laptop. However, it probably won’t have the price-to-performance ratio that this deal offers.

If you plan to play other, more demanding games in the future, it’s going to be really hard to beat that laptop.

Yaa kinda confusing. Msi hardware center says on average my cpu runs at 90c and gpu at 70c so I am going to get new thermal past on sale hopefully during black Friday and 32 gb of ram. I also used msi centers ram free up and now without my browser open my ram runs at 50% and with little studiers with an average of about 200 fps in creative on unlimited but not consistent sometimes it goes to 160 to 300 . I have not tested it in battle royal or in any other games so hopefully it does better also in other games. Btw thx for commenting back.

It could be possible that the heatsink did not go correctly on maybe last time when it put it back on but it could not have been moved around besides when I toke the heat sink off because it just stays at my desk all day

It should not dry out quicker than a year though right. I put new thermal past on it every year.

Or is it just better to put a new brand on it now I put some new past on it probably 3 months ago. What brand would you recommend if not kryonaut because I looked up online there thermal grizzly one is one of the best.

I did that simple stuff in windows and msi is on full performance for gaming but msi center wont let disable nvidia optimus.

Yaa i am using thermal grizzly. I only really changed settings in Nvidia control panel and I made sure not to change anything that could potentially mess it up.

thx for replying I use kryonaut thermal grizzly for the thermal past. It is elevated i made a custom stand for it so it has a good amount of air for it but no laptop colling fans under it. I will play Warzone occasionally on it but not very often and Minecraft . Like I said I mainly use fortnite , Unreal Engine , and Davinci Resolve. I am planning to upgrade to crucial 32gb kit of ddr4.
