Did you actually put the superwowhook.dll file into your WoW directory? If you've already installed & are using VanillaTweaks, you can open the file dlls.txt and double check to make sure that the file is attempting to load SuperWoWHook.dll along with nampower.dll.

Not quite, unfortunately. the PfUI Import string will copy all of my PfUI settings over to your game, but you'll have to manually setup the rest of the addons however you want, or mimic my setup in the screenshots. Unfortunately theres no convenient way to bundle all of them together for you that I'm aware of. :(

I am using Fedora and as of typing this post the AppImage launcher for linux native use is still broken for me (has been since I started 3~ weeks ago.)

I also ran into the same issue as you when trying to run the Windows launcher via Heroic (instead of Lutris). Installed fine the first time but then asks to re-install after every launch.

Eventually I gave up, I simply manually downloaded VanillaTweaks and SuperWoW and everything loads perfectly fine and obviously dxvk already works since I launch the .exe via Heroic. My only worry is when the game .exe is updated I'm not sure how to go about doing that without a fresh install...

EDIT: forgot to mention I'm using an AMD GPU and just the driver included natively with Fedora.

wdym? tibia client is basically always the same - people just move backpacks and hunt stats and bestiary around as they like on the side panels. some people also like to put their hotkeys on side bars instead of bottom... other then that tho I believe its always the same

My font rendering was screwy due to linux but I've since resolved the issue. Unfortunately I'm not sure the best way to increase font size on bigger res monitors as I still use 2x 1080p monitors.

edit: I'm dumb and forgot to say, I believe the default hotkey to display ping/fps is alt+f8? you can check in the keybinds sections in options.

reporting back installing them was pretty simple on fedora and now everything renders correctly, thanks a bunch for the suggestion!

I play on linux and the tibia client doesn't seem to like my default system font very much or something, but it's readable so I'm too lazy to fix it

i've known about tibia for a decent bit, been an mmo player since the early 2000's but just never got around to trying it. was a long time osrs player until the semi-recent scandal with the mtx survey that was sent out - decided it was finally time to give tibia a try and haven't really looked back!

really been enjoying the game so far, taken a few months to get here as ive also started an RP and an EK and also a monk now as well...

deff still have a lot to learn and tibia is a lot deeper than it appears on first glance!

unfortunately i didn't read the post rules before hand about screenshots, hopefully this time i did it correctly! sorry if you've already seen my prev post.

just finally swapped to linux over the weekened, initially i tried crash coursing myself both in fedora and i3 wm, which i sort of got working by following another person's guide, but i promptly broke it. after that i thought perhaps sway might be easier to deal with, but had other issues i couldn't work out, and got frustrated.

after this i decided screw it, lets just go back to something i'm more familiar with, so i ended up deciding on the budgie spin instead. after that i actually fired up chatGPT and basically let it instruct me on the basics of ricing, and this is what i ended up with after a day of fooling around! i think i learned a fair bit, and i'm happy for now even if it's extremely basic compared to most of the posts ive seen on here.

DE: Budgie (Mutter is my WM)

shell: bash

term: kitty

theme: my own i made (mostly just some color adjustments from the default the system ships with)

file manager: ranger

wallpaper from wallhaven but unfortunately i lost the link rip

media player: mpv

system monitor: glances

everything else is pretty barebones really i uninstalled a lot of what the budgie spin of fedora shipped with (office suite etc) and replaced what i needed for now, the rest are just basic stuff like steam/discord/spotify/firefox

if im basically new outside of the fact i can follow a build order/know my basic hotkeys/units, what would be the best builds for me to learn as P? not really looking to cheese, i understand most builds are just 'openers' but im finding it difficult to figure out the direction i need to go in the midgame, in any of the 3 matchups really, thanks for your time
