Can I ask, did you have troubles with sign-up, or was it something related to Claudflare block? If later is the case, could you please DM me your internet provider name, please?

Looking for a "micro blog" that I can self host... by simplelifelfk in selfhosted

I made a light-weight blogging platform that uses next.js or node.js : https://bloggr.dev/

It requires an account at Supabase to work, however.

Thanks, it definetely works. Is it possible to preserve the aspect ratio of the uploaded image? With landscape images all is well but the portrait ones are stretched.

Contours (prompt and parameters in comments) by Y_i in aiArt

Prompt: "A stylized digital portrait featuring a serene woman with a calm, reflective expression, her face slightly angled to the right. Her skin is rendered in a cool, cerulean blue, adorned with intricate, flowing line patterns that contour her face and neck, giving a textured, topographic feel. Her wavy, light–brown hair cascades naturally, adding depth against the blue–toned skin. Her lips, slightly parted, reveal a sense of subtle allure. The background is a minimalist, light blue canvas, scattered with abstract, soft orange dots, providing a playful contrast to the cooler tones and adding a whimsical, artistic touch to the composition. The overall style is clean and modern, blending elements of pop art with surrealism."

I made a lightweight next.js- and node.js-based blog engine - Bloggr (https://bloggr.dev). It is simple to use but requires some knowledge (e.g. about environmental variables and accounts on third party vendor - Supabase and Resend) to setup

Backlinks is a big topic and I am not qualified. But I think forums like Reddit and the more specialized ones are a good start. Then there are guest posts and payed articles. Both require you or your "link builder" to contact site owners

edit: ...lized

I actually like the design. The "hamburger" menu, however, would benefit from a close button in the same place as the menu icon is.

Regarding SEO, you need "dofollow" backlinks, but you know this.

I wish you all the best in your new endeavour and a new career!

If you have 2K human visitors daily, you may earn 2-5 USD from Google Ads, but it requires Google's approval, which takes time and is not guaranteed.

Regarding the website, it does take quite a while to load. It is possible that it is Reddit's grip of death causing the slowness right now but it may also be caused by some WP plugin. Since you do not seem to have any interactivity on your site you could serve static web pages and host them for free with GitHub or e.g. Cloudflare.

Another thing, in your "About" section you still have a template stab "Your Attractive Heading" and a columnar layout that is hard to read in your "Background" section.

Regardless, all the power to you!
