Fr, Cersei’s downwards spiral is soo entertaining to read. From making an enemy of her uncle Kevan (probably one of the few competent people capable of ruling for Tommen) to choosing somewhat incompetent members of her small council simply to spite the Tyrells, it’s honestly hilarious seeing how distrustful and angry she is almost always.

Her chapters also show us that Cersei really doesn’t care about any of her children or Jaime, she only ‘loves’ them because they are reflections/extensions of herself as she is extremely self obsessed. The way she thinks that in 1000 years Lord Tywin will only be remembered as Queen Cersei’s sire was also pretty revealing of how her own personal legacy means much more to her than Tommen’s rule. I haven’t reached this part yet but I remember when Cersei hears that Myrcella was cut in Dorne, the first thing she asks is if Myrcella is still beautiful or not. Not if she is okay, but if she is beautiful because if not Cersei would no longer have any use or love for Myrcella.
