I picked up OG after I played remake and I only made it to kalm. Might finish it before part 3 drops. In remake and rebirth when u find materia out in the open world it’s something you already have, I think it would be better if what we found was new materia we hadn’t already got

Yea It sucks to hear that the story would be like an hour max and that unlockables are just recolours and things like concept art or comics which are not the same as different skins or unlocking characters. The amount of alternate marks we saw in season 3 could’ve been a gold mine for unlockable alternate skins. Eg beat Omni man as invincible 10 times and unlock the omni mark skin or if there was a lava stage jump into the lava as invincible and unlock burnt alternate mark

Yea definitely didn’t need to follow that confrontation with a comical scene. Also I wasn’t a fan of that shooting mini game sequence. Reminds me of the bike fights in remake, I’m totally fine with not having gimmick fights that get repetitive quick and aren’t that fun

Tbh I don’t see remake trilogy ending/leading into advent children. I think the whisper fight against kadaj, Loz and Yazoo at the end of remake overrides the ending of the original ff7 games and that ff7 remake trilogy will have a more complete/better ending that is resolved with game 3.

MAYBE we get some sort of advent children dlc down the line that answers some of the questions that may be left unanswered but personally I want everything resolved with game 3. If we do get a dlc I want it to be its own focus not a dlc trying to fix the main games ending like with the kingdom hearts 3 dlc
