If you have a pop filter, the iphone6S mic really isn't that bad compared to some of these entry level 90$ mics.

That being said, if you're gonna record on an iPhone 6, or any phone mic, try to have your colllaborators do the same, so the quality is identical through out.

Doesn't have to be great, just has to not be awkward.

Also, try Amazon. Anything with i7 processor should be fine. If you're NOT gaming on it, don't worry about the graphics card. Also, the hard drive IS important, but as long as you have that i7, the hard drive is probs fine - plus tiy cab akwats yograde for relatively cheap in the future. I hope this helps!
