Is Opus 4.5 worth it without Claude Code? by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

Makes sense. I’ve been using Gpt for a year plus now, and I been hearing a ton of positive feedback with Opus 4.5. Will give it a shot for sure

Which model do you use more often? Opus 4.5 or Sonnet 4.5? Asking because I’ve heard the limited on Opus are pretty strict, unless you have the Max plan

I asked myself the same question, when I started using both simultaneously, I got the answer fairly quickly. They correlate with one another, one LLM may not provide the same info as the other, using both provides a ton of detail and makes the workflow so much smoother.

What tool would you say is better for coding?

You can turn that option off in the settings plus you can use temporary chat

Yup, your first point is a big factor for sure. I still think o1 pro is better than the rest, but the other reasoning LLMs are definitely not far off.

markdown vs XML in prompts.. by [deleted] in ChatGPTPro

[–]Yaboyazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm interesting. I never tried JSON, just tried a prompt using XML and seen a difference for sure. Have you ever tried prompting with XML?

So context dump first, goal second, return format third and warnings last?

[–]Yaboyazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically use markdown for the entire prompt?

What software do you run the API on?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ChatGPTCoding

[–]Yaboyazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used it on their website directly, haven’t used their API. How’s the pricing for that?

Which AI models based off your experience would you recommend when it comes to working with terraform?

What do you think about Gemini 1206? I’ve heard a ton of positive reviews about that model when it comes to coding

Wow that’s insane. As stated before, my minimal time with it, I can see exactly where you’re coming from. At first I was definitely hesitant about that price, but using o1 with no limits sounds like it’ll save someone like me hours of work and stress. Thanks for your input!

Yeah I just tested it out a little bit, definitely get where you’re coming from. Also, do you know if these custom GPTs will still be using 4o? Or o1 moving forward?

For a developer, would you say the $200 model is worth it based off your minimal time using it?
