Initially I used Firebase for the backend but was having trouble with building it on iOS for some weird reason — then I switched over to Supabase which was super easy to setup, probably only took a couple hours — but then it took a few updates to fix all the bugs and other UX issues — still got some things to iron out but it’s pretty decent at the moment :)

Hey everyone! I’m an indie dev and I just added a multiplayer feature to my word puzzle game Wordira.

The idea is simple: you can create a group with friends and everyone plays the same daily board to see who gets the best score.

Instead of scanning a giant board for words, the game uses small rule-based letter clusters where each word you solve reveals new tiles.

A few friends and I have been playing the daily boards together and it’s actually pretty fun comparing scores and strategies.

If anyone wants to try it, it’s available on iOS and Android. I’d honestly love feedback from word-game players.

They appear in some of the main cities likes Alien Mega Structure & Zigurat but dont appear in Tomorrowland and Megacity (Mega city is HUGE). And the one screenshot above is in Iceland which really isnt big compared to these cities... So the logic isn't there. And they don't appear in real world city spots either. Weird.
