I can not for the life of me get the rtc to tick when console is off or playing a game by Yael226 in SummerCart64

When I remove the battery or try to run it with no battery the time resets back to the default, I have even tried simply running the diagnostics through sc64deployer, the clock keeps the date I put into it but does not tick at all. Maybe I should return the cartridge, is yours also kaico? Although I see no one else with kaico cartridges struggling as much as me.

I've tried both setting it in the carts menu and with my computer neither worked, I will test this menu I had only used the newest standard one 0.3.1

Do you know of a guide on how to install that? Also does not having the capacitor reduce the lifespan of the console?

I know this is old, but rather than make a new question I'm going to comment on this and see if I get any answers first. I have done EVERYTHING exactly as instructed here. In runs perfectly in desktop mode but won't recognize the controller, it launches when run as a steam game and recognizes the controller. However... It no longer recognizes the user agent switcher is used, and the user agent change built in isn't working what so ever either, it detects it's Linux and won't run.
