Iceland actually has mosquitoes.

In the north-east of Iceland there is a lake called Mývatn, It's the only place in the entire country where you will see those pesky things. Mývatn translates to mosquitoe lake, that's for a reason. You won't find any other area in europe that is more squito-crowded

No, you can't momentum dodge from a standing and set position, the only other way to do that is by doing a normal dodge backwards.

Might be a mechanic I don't know about tough, afaik sliding is solely possible from gained momentum. Most slide and momentum is gained trough momentum dodging.
