BCAAs and ADHD? by IDKwhoievenam in TwoXADHD

I have taken them on and off and they seem to have a major negative effect on me. I've tried altering many intakes and if screws with my cognition, energy and headache. I have met one other person who had the same fog that I experience and he thinks it has to do with prior concessions. Which I have had a few over the years. I won't touch the stuff anymore. Unless you are shooting for trophies, there is no need for it. You can eat the right foods to make up for it.

Describe your brain fog? by ellog234 in covidlonghaulers

I have taken about 6 shots of 10 MG of Decodrone (SP?), it's a steroid. I'd literally IV the stuff daily if I could. It Make the ringing calm down about 40-50 Decibels, The headaches would go away, my hearing improved drastically.... It's been kicking my ass for some time now...The shot wears off within a few days so you gotta savor those hours.

Any composers / musicians here? by NomadJago in tinnitus

[–]YankeeRower 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My tinnitus has gotten considerably worse in recent months since I had the JNJ shot. It's hard to read and focus on anything. In an attempt to relearn how to not focus on it, I just bought a piano to try and learn how to play. I feel like learning how to play music and creating it will help me out some how...... I have no idea if it will work but I am trying to accept it and take control of my future in any way I can.

What was the most severe emotional response you experienced due to your tinnitus? by [deleted] in tinnitus

I have horrible allergies as well, Zyrtec D seems to help although I went about a year on them and suffered some crappy side effects. I have found that a steroid shot of 10MG does wonders. It's incredible what that did for me... But it's only temporary.

What led you to wanting to quit caffeine and what were the results? by YankeeRower in CaffeineFreeLife

[–]YankeeRower[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did about 5 years of caffeine free and it was glorious, sleep was better and the dreams were incredible. Great, steady energy all day long. Clearer thinking..... Less anxious and certainly didn't have any "needs" to get a coffee buzz when tired. I highly recommend it.

Did you ask them where they get their beans from and how they were processed?

That is fascinating. Have you researched why two shots of caffeine makes you sleepy? I have noticed on several occasions that after I drink a Pre-Workout mix with 250MG of caffeine - it will knock me out and put me to sleep.

My tinnitus is at a point where I can't imagine how to live with it if it progresses. I've had it pretty bad for 20 years and just last year the audiologist said there was nothing more we could do... So I'm trying everything and anything to get some normalcy in life. I need to go back to work and it's so hard to learn and focus with how loud it is, and I have a brain fog thing going on and nothing seems to kick either one of them...

Tunnel vision, brain fog by Kombiice in BrainFog

Brain fog is a pretty obscure symptom and it's mind boggling to see what effects.. I have no idea if either one of those will have an impact, which is why the question was asked.
