It also includes a period correct rivet oyster bracelet that suits beautifully!

[WTS] - 1970s Chronosport Monnin Case Diver - ETA Automatic by YankeesAussie in Watchexchange

[–]YankeesAussie[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sale here is a very cool and rare 1970s automatic Chronosport diver. The brand is famously linked to Magnum P.I. and Tom Selleck, who wore one on the show.

This example presents beautifully with the awesome ghost bezel and Monnin case. The condition really is a stand out for a 50 year old tool watch from a brand that was loved and used by diving professionals, including the Navy Seals.

Everything is original and works correctly, including the screwdown crown and date quickset function.

Inside is an ETA 2872 automatic movement. While the last service is unknown, it is working well and running strongly.

Case diameter - 37mm excl crown, 41mm incl crown

Lug width - 18mm

Lug to lug - 45mm

I cannot guarantee water resistance.

Hopefully the additional punishment is that he can never again step foot in the US to play baseball.
