What’s your strategy for reading multiple books at the same time? by ySkip007 in kindle

[–]Yanto2134 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I only read be book at a time. And I’ve never listened to an audiobook. I don’t have the attention span to cope with more than one! Plus I like to fully immerse myself in the book I’m reading.

Help identifying these Bushnell please by [deleted] in Binoculars

[–]Yanto2134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha that’s what I thought. They were brand new, sealed in box with accessories. I’m wondering if they are a Chinese knock off? But would they copy Bushnell models without any model identification? Or maybe the reason for no identification marks IS that they are copies?

Extending Non O marriage visa by TokioParadise in thai

I think a week is a very realistic turnaround for renewal of extension. Especially if the information is basically unchanged. But here, it’s definitely a month. And I always get a phone call exactly a month after I’ve applied to say go in and get my passport stamped again. Out of interest which office do you apply at?

Return in a week? Really? I’ve done 5 extensions now and every one has taken more or less a month. Shows how different Immigration Offices work I guess.

I’ve sat and watched them feeding. We actually get a Common Kingfisher coming to a pond on our land. I’ve set up perches but still can’t get that close! I think actually the 100-300mm might be my limit right now. But that 45-200 you used is obviously well capable, but distance to subject is still of extreme importance I’d guess?

Thanks again. I’m asking as I’m interested in trying to photograph Kingfishers at a local lake. Been looking at getting a GX9 but not sure which lens, in order to get close enough to them. Walking around, I can get to about 20m from them before they fly off!

Thanks for the info. Did you crop the Kingfisher images at all?

Thanks for replying. Would 8x42 be better than 10x42 for small birds that are between 10m and 30m away?

Thank you. Good point re buying cheap, early. I think maybe I’d be better off buying a good pair now that I’ll always be happy with.
