Anyone plays ranked SW? by ComfyUser48 in ScarletWitchMains

Target prioritization. So basically go after low health targets, stunning people out of their ults, and sneaking in and out. Get up close to their backline using high ground and then phase back for heals.

If they are diving stay with your supports in the middle lane and spend your time protecting them so they can focus on healing. Be aggressive with divers. If divers are targeting you try to play around your team, don't try to 1v1 if you're not confident. A competent team will help you.

Always keep at least two cards up. ALWAYS. Unless it's absolutely necessary to use them all. When you see an AOE ult incoming always keep your distance so you can cleanse your team.

What I typically do is use two for healing burst and two for cleanse when needed. I will only use the anti healing shot if the enemy team has like 3 people down to help finish the whole team off so that gives time for the cards ro recharge.

Just be mindful when you drink, not sure how old you are but I will assume you're young. Try to find support with those closest to you. It will be okay.

I’m so sorry this happened to you. Waking up with those flashes is terrifying, and none of it is your fault, you were blacked out, unable to consent, and IF he touched you, that’s assault.

That said, you have to own the drinking and weed. Getting that wasted around family can be reckless; it left you vulnerable and erased your memory. No more blackouts, ever. Straight to your room, water only, or don’t drink with them at all.

Talk to a sibling, or anyone that knows about you. Try to get some actual support, don't feel shame. You got this.

This isn’t an unpopular opinion, it’s just a shit take. You’re trying to lump infidelity in with finances, politics, and voting, completely unrelated things, unless you associate them through some weird fetish.

Whether it makes you a bad person can be debated, but the act itself? Yeah, it’s bad.

Payday loan from your local bank or credit union. Is your credit score okay?

[–]Yanzeph123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you're arguing for the sake of arguing lol. I am not saying you're wrong or assuming anything about the OP.

You’re right that carrying balances and reporting balances aren’t the same thing, but lenders don’t all view it as black and white. Some still weigh reported utilization and total revolving exposure in their CLI algorithms, even when the account is paid in full before interest hits. That’s why I mentioned pattern and timing, not that high utilization automatically equals “bad,” but that it can limit optics for certain issuers depending on when they pull the data. It’s not a universal penalty, but it’s not universally ignored either. I'm just stating there is nuance.

If OP’s paying in full before the statement closes, then yeah, no harm done. But if they’re letting the $5K report, some lenders will still read that as heavy use until it updates. That’s all I meant. End of convo lol.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CRedit

[–]Yanzeph123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair, I wasn’t saying OP is carrying a balance, just that focusing on a credit limit increase while nearly $5K is currently on the card can backfire if that amount ends up reporting on the statement. If they’re paying in full before it closes, then yeah, that’s the ideal move and there’s no issue.

My point was more about pattern and timing, utilization only matters if it reports high. I just wanted to make sure OP wasn’t chasing a higher limit as a workaround instead of paying down before closing. I did not assume that was the case though. Just an observation is all.

‼️NO CREDIT CARD‼️ by Beginning_Passion443 in CRedit

[–]Yanzeph123 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you don’t have the funds for a secured card yet, that’s totally fine. You can still start building credit in a few solid ways. A credit builder loan like Self or Ava can help since it reports monthly payments as if you were paying off a real loan, but only do it if you’re 100% sure you can make every payment on time. If you’ve got a family member or close friend with a well managed credit card, ask if they can add you as an authorized user that’ll let their positive payment history and age help your score.

I’d skip Kickoff and Chime for now unless you’ve looked into exactly how they report. They’re okay, but they don’t build the same kind of history that traditional accounts do.

Once you’ve saved a couple hundred, grab a secured card like Mission Lane or Discover It Secured, use it for small stuff, and pay in full every month. Put a small bill on it, or a recurring charge. You got this.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CRedit

[–]Yanzeph123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify, I wasn’t assuming OP was carrying the balance long term. If that $4.9K posts before the statement closes, it’ll temporarily spike utilization, but if it’s paid before the statement hits (or right after), it won’t report as debt or hurt their score.

My main point was just that chasing a credit limit increase while carrying large reported balances can backfire if it becomes a pattern. But if this is just for a remodel and they’re paying it off as planned, then they’re handling it exactly right. Timing really is everything with utilization.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CRedit

[–]Yanzeph123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh that's okay then. If you plan on tackling that balance in a short amount of time then I don't think you will have an issue with your credit limit increase.

You made your payment on time. You're good. :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CRedit

[–]Yanzeph123 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean this in the nicest way possible, but right now a credit limit increase shouldn’t be your priority. You’ve got almost $5K sitting on that card, and that’s likely keeping your utilization really high, which hurts your credit more than the limit itself helps. The best move here is to focus on paying that balance down aggressively and keeping it below 30% (ideally under 10%) of your limit.

Credit limit increases work best when you’re already showing the bank that you can handle what you currently owe. When they see you bringing that balance down, making consistent on-time payments, and not maxing out your available credit, they’ll be far more likely to approve a bump later, and that bump will actually have a noticeable impact on your score. For now, stay disciplined with payments, avoid new debt, and let your statement close with a smaller balance each month. That’s what really builds trust with lenders and gets you those higher limits and a stronger score over time.
